Could it be the same Robert Fripp? This was in Dorset, England. Lyn Mumford [ RF is British. No further correspondence on this query please. I have one white on black pick with Tony's face on one side and "STOLEN FROM TONY LEVIN" written on the other. This pick is seen at the beginning of Peter Gabriel's "Point of View" home video. I also have a Papabear guitar pick (black on pink) with Papabear logo on one side and a bear foot print on the other. http://cgi.ca.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1437908773 If you have any questions, email me at: donal at guitarmagazines dot net Take care, -Donal- ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Jun 2001 12:09:33 -0400 From: bmreynolds at nisource dot com Subject: Newbie I've been reading the newsletter quite a bit as I have recently become interested in King Crimson. I thought I'd start at the beginning and bought the first LP, In The Court Of The Crimson King. I liked it very well. Then, I heard stuff from Discipline, Thrak, and The Construction of Light and was blown away. Last week, I happened upon a vinyl copy of Starless and The Bible Black and enjoyed it. I was wondering what KC fans recommend out of their expansive catalog. The friend recommended Cirkus. BTW, does anybody have a large scan of the jacket for Discipline to use for a wallpaper?
